Fantasy Premier League Tips: Midfielders for Gameweek 10

Niko Kranjcar

The Croatian International, who has played for six different clubs so far in his career, joined Queens Park Rangers to help his former manager sharpen up their performance. His biggest contribution is a spectacular dying minute’s free kick that had the Rangers sharing points against Stoke City. Despite working with manager Harry Redknapp before at Tottenham Hotspur, his place in the starting lineup still remains a question. Out of six matches, the 30-year old has only completed playing half of those. Moreover, last weekend he only made little involvement against Aston Villa. Although comprising lots of talent and experience, Kranjcar is not a regular starter hence not a good choice for the dream team.

Stewart Downing

The 30-year old winger who has immense premier league experience has been a significant part of the Hammers this season. After a rather disastrous spell at Liverpool, Downing is hitting back at his critics. Three assists and a single goal so far this season has made him a sure-starter for Sam Allardyce’s side. The style West Ham is playing this time clearly suits the winger who comprises great drive of swiftness. Yet, the last two matches where the England international played full time, he has not sparkled as before, whereas his last goal was in mid August. He needs to work on his consistently to further help the Hammers continue their superb start of the season.

Mohamed Diame

One of the most dominant midfielder in the league, Mohamed Diame has gelled spectacularly with Hull City Tigers. The former West Ham defensive midfielder is in second place in chart of top scoring midfielders with four goals so far this season. His finest attribute is strong physical presence and enthusiasm to dominant the centre of the park. Last weekend against Liverpool at Anfield, he battled hard and controlled the ball possession very well. A France born individual but now captains the Senegal football squad, is arguably one of the best capture of the transfer window.

Star Picks

Alexis Sanchez – The Gunners’ savior in two games in a row, the Chilean star is a significant player this season for Arsenal, being their top scorer.

Eden Hazard – The Belgian international was denied with a sublime save from David de Gea last weekend. Yet, his trademark pace and dribbling skills is a constant threat for defenders.

Angel di Maria – Surprisingly the winger was silent in the previous match against table toppers Chelsea at Old Trafford. However, one of the best players in the league with three goals and four assists.

Mile Jedinak – The Eagles midfielder scored his third goal of the season last weekend. An outstanding player who also has a single assist to his name!

Nacer Chadli – The 25-year old speedy winger is the best player for Tottenham Hotspur so far this season with four goals and one assist.
